Rev. Shirley BIO

Rev. Shirley MacFarland has been joyfully performing weddings for over twenty years. She was ordained as a non-denominational Spiritualist minister at Fellowships of the Spirit in Lily Dale, New York in 1998. She has not only performed hundreds of weddings and various life ceremonies but she has also been a featured guest minister at area Unity churches.

Rev. Shirley's ministry includes spiritual healing at various venues in Northeast Ohio. She is a Reiki Master and has also studied Therapeutic Touch and Qigong. She has led a volunteer Reiki group at the Hitchcock Center for Women - a residential treatment center for chemically dependent women in Cleveland for twenty years. Rev. Shirley was also a member of the Healing Services Team at Medina Hospital - a Cleveland Clinic hospital.

Rev. Shirley has a marketing/advertising art degree and worked for many of the major Cleveland/Akron ad agencies during her career. She then ran her own advertising agency for almost 20 years. She now offers marketing consulting exclusively to non-profit organizations as well as writing a weekly community column for  cleveland.com and the Sun News. She also leads the marketing team for Unity Spiritual Center, her church of choice.
